Particle Board & Wood Screws - Bulk Ordering and Packaging

Specifically designed for fiber board, or particle board, to cut through this hard man-made material without “cratering,” where standard wood screws and sheet metal screws would fail. These screws typically come in Flat head and Pan head (Flat head being more popular).

Uneeda also handles some custom products as well, such as Full threads particle Board screws called “Grip-All,” which work well in vinyl and some other plastics. Many are also available in case hardened 410 Stainless Steel. Type - 17 point and self countersinking fins under the flat head called “Woodies” are another example of a modified Particle Board screw which work well in Particle Board without pilot holes.

Uneeda handles full inventory on standard particle board screws as well as “Grip-All” and “Woodies” specialized products.

WOODIES:
Type 17 with No Nibs Flat - A thread cutting screw for wood with a coarse tapping screw thread and a special long sharp point fluted to capture chips.

PARTICLE BOARD SCREW:
Type 17 with Nibs Flat – Features a Type 17 point for reduced torque, quicker starting and penetration as well as reduced splitting. For use with hinges, slides, and different types of hardware.

FULL THREAD PARTICLE BOARD SCREW (GRIP-ALL):
The thread extends from the screw shaft to the front end of the screw tip. In order to make it easier to screw in, and in order to reduce the splitting effect in wood, a shoulder or rib is disposed in the front region of the screw. Capable of driving into the material without having to drill a pilot hole, facilitating a very rapid screwing process.

DOWEL SCREW:
Ideal for attaching wood pieces and joints end-to-end due to their design of wood screw threads at each end.

HANGER BOLT:
Have no head, instead they have wood screw threads on one end and machine screw threads on the other to accept a hex nut or coupling nut.

ROUND WOOD SCREW:
Round head protrudes above the surface of the material to be fastened. Has a tapered shape and coarse threads that allow it to hold well in wood. An unthreaded portion directly below the head allows the screw to pull the mating pieces of wood together for a tight joint.

PAN PARTICLE BOARD:
Protrudes above the surface of the material to be fastened. Has a thin shaft and provides resistance to pull-out in particle board, while offset against a lower shear strength. The threads on particle board screws are asymmetrical.

FLAT PARTICLE BOARD:
Countersunk into the material for a smooth surface area.

SLOTTED OVAL:
Similar to flat head, but have a slightly rounded top for a more finished look.

FLAT WOOD SCREW:
A tapered shank screw for use exclusively in wood. Countersunk into the material for a smooth surface area.
