Uneeda Bolt & Screw supplies Cup Point, Cone Point, Flat Point, Oval Point, Half Dog Point, Slotted, Socket, and Square Head set screws. Sockets have a 6 sided hex in one end with threads extending over the whole length of the screw. Offers easy adjustment without slippage. They allow for high torqing on the screws so as to hold objects tighter in place. Typically hardened alloy.

CUP POINT: Most commonly used socket set screw. It has a cup-shaped tip. The cup point is used for the quick assembly of permanent and semi-permanent parts.	CONE POINT: The cone point socket has a sharp conical point on the tip. It is used for the permanent setting of parts. It offers the highest torsion and axial holding capability because of the deep penetration of the tip.	FLAT POINT: The flat point socket has a flat surface at the tip. It is used for frequent relocation of parts where minimal shaft deformation is required.
OVAL POINT: The oval point socket has an oval shaped point at the tip. It is used where frequent adjustments are needed where minimal deforming of the part is required	HALF DOG POINT: The half dog point socket has a flat tip protruding from the tip. It is used for the permanent setting of parts and often is used in place of a dowel pin.	SLOTTED: Slot is used for driving the part into whatever application it is needed in. Typically low carbon steel soft.
SQUARE HEAD: Have a large bearing area that provide positive gripping for a hand wrench.
